i rung the doctors and the earliest they can see me is thursday, that's not to bad but i have work and i really don't feel like going to work when i am like this any advice?

Is there no chance you can be seen earlier if it's causing you concern, some gp practices do emergency appointments on a morning & afternoons, usually they are just a 5 min slot but still might be worth enquiring about.

i got like tremor's and palpitations and feeling the cold more. :> everything else is fine i guess, it goes then comes back alot too

What are your bloods doing when you feel like this? And, is this feeling influenced by anything you have eaten or drunk?

What does perfect mean, in numbers? Have you tested ketones recently, just to be sure?

Have the symptoms got better, worsened or stayed the same since your numbers have come down, from "im unctrolled so my sugars are usally hi" ?

May I ask why you are uncontrolled?

Sorry to be a pedant, but are you saying there you may be a bit better with lower numbers?

What sort of help do you feel you need? (This is a great place for help, provided it's not doing your washing or ironing!!)

i think with lower numbers it feels a little bit better, im not 100% as i don't know what good numbers are when mines been so hi so 8 is good to you but 10 is good to me :p

And i mean i don't get help from doctors/nurse ect.

Well, 8-10 is certainly much, much better that "hi", which I'm assuming is what your meter was saying?

OK. So, what sort of help do you feel you would like from your Doc or nurse? Personally, I can't help you too much on insulin related matters, being a diet controlled T2, but there are so, so many helpful people on here we can call upon, once we understand what sort of help you need, or want.

i mean help in controlling it better, ect :P i know i should be carb counting but i panic to much about that, i don't even have a weighting scales lol?

i got a carbs n cal book somewhere though :P

Can I assume that you may have been either eating better or injecting more thoughtfully to make your numbers come down?

If you see the solution as carb counting (and I wouldn't challenge that as a hypothesis), what would your GP and/or Nurse to about that?

There are some online learning resources around if you are unsure of the "how do I". Would that help or have you just got out of the habit, or can't be bothered?

No-one expects the Spanish Inquisition............................... :D

ah i don't know i thought the nurses and stuff should help me with everything they just throw stuff at me :p i guess i'm going to have to be botherd to do everything on my own :D

All part of the difficulty with diabetes is that it's an all day, every day condition which demands our attention and respect. Would it be helpful if you were mailing them your readings every week, say? or would that just feel restrictive?

Would you like the support of other T1s on here to help you with specifics surrounding your injection/carb counting regimes? Me offering to support there could be, inappropriate and frankly, dangerous. There are lots of folks in binds like these from time to time. Diabetic Burn out is quite common. I don't know if that's pretty much what your suffering from, underlying these other symptoms, but if you participate on the forum, you will get support.

It's a great place, when the going is tough. (And not so bad in the better times too.)
