Thinking of traveling tips please

I'm hoping to do a bit of a working holiday traveling some where like Spain or Portugal, but have never traveled at all really. So what I'd like to know is how to go about either taking as much insulin and needles ect with me or if it's possible to get it while abroad as easily or what the deal is. I'm stressing about it quite a bit and really don't want to be in a diffrent an not be able to get what I need. I've had enough trouble with docs not giving me what I need in this country never mind one where I dint speak the language very much. All help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you will find most of the popular insulin kit is readily available throughout Europe. Just take your prescription with you and if possible enough supplies anyway to keep you going anyway.

If you don't have one already, apply for an EHIC - see http://www.nhs.uk/chq/pages/1073.aspx?categoryid=68 You will be treated as any resident of Spain or Portugal. The better your language skills the better for finding work as well as social life, dealing with health etc.
