I take 2 pills per day of metformin with 500 mg each pill. Starting taking January 2016 and have noticed hair thinning real bad on the top of my head. Now noticing a bald spot has also appeared. Please advise if there is a chance of metformin causing this problem. Very scarey and want to stop medicine is so. Thanks, Gloria in Virginia
