Those little red boxes

Is it me or has there been an increase in people posting with 'no information' on their 'type' since the introduction of those little red boxes under our names?
 
I agree there is an increase.

Shouldn't make a difference what type you are, not exactly like you will be judged.
 
It would definitely be more helpful to have this information so we'd know where they're coming from with their experiences and/or advice.

Quite! @Robbity it's galling to find out that you've been "corrected" + lectured to by someone who's not diabetic ( as happened to me when inquiring about if)
 
Don't get me wrong, I think everyone is entitled to deciding whether to share their info. Was just commenting on how the amount if people choosing not to seems to have increased. Maybe time to review the little red box???
 
I have the ..preferred not to say, as I am T2 ..but in remission and there's no box for that the last time I looked ... But always say I am T2 in any replys I give if the person is new to me ...

Edit to say ... Yea there is a box for me now :)
