Three lots of good news...

Firstly, my daughter has been given funding for a pump and our start date is 23rd Aug! Secondly we had her HBA1C today which is 5.8mmol and finally her blood which had shown the presence of antibodies for thyroid disease is still at ok levels, so no intervention required.

I'm still awaiting coeliac results from the blood tests for both my children, but overall a good day!

That's fantastic news leggott :) I hope the coeliac results come back as all normal too.
 
Congratulations X 3. I know a family here who also has 2 children with diabetes and they had to fight hard so both could get funding for pumps. Stupid politics of it all couldn't work out that one family could have more than one child needing the funding.

Hope the blood tests work out well. I must say that Khaleb's hypothyroidism hasn't been any hassle at all. He has the tablet every morning and all has been good. I've even just convinced the Dr to only do the thyroid function blood tests every 6 months now instead of every 3. Khaleb should be much happier.
