Hi. Yes, it's very common and due to the kidneys pushing out sugar when blood glucose goes above about 10mmol. Candida love sugar hence the Thrush outbreak. When you get your sugar down below the level at which the kidneys dump sugar the thrush should magically disappear. I had the same problem at diagnosis

It cools the burning and doesn't upset the good bacteria in your vagina. Pricey yes but it lasts.
