Please just take a moment to answer this Question. I would like to know if anybody has had a thyroid removed and then developed diabetes, or if any one had diabetes first and then had their thyroid removed, as I firmly believe there is a connection between these. Thank you very much for your time.

Hello, there is a connection between diabetes and thyroid conditions, I know some members have both conditions, but unsure if any have had their thyroid removed.? Have you tried doing a google search ?

Hi, yes I have googled this til I am blue in the face, but so far havent found any proof, I am going to the hospital with my partner who has T2 tomorrow and iwill ask them, its still early days for us as he was only diagnosed last week, must admit it feels like our world has turned upside at the moment!
