soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I have been reading through some posts, whilst hoping the rain would ease, so I can risk walking to the bus stop. to go into town to the healthfood store to buy ingredients for low carb bread.
I have seen so many bits from people who have conquered difficulties by tightening up their control, generally by low carbing. the targets for BG control set by the medics are too lax. We obviously do so much better if we keep to Non-diabetic levels. Bg 8 is simply too high. I am struggling to get down from the 5s to the 4s, without increasing the medication.
Why am I still hearing from people I meet that their care team has told them not to worry up to 10 or even 12? It may be out of date, but it's happening. We need a public soapbox which we don't get tbecause of organisations like NICE and Diabetes UK, which onfirm those targets. Has anyone any ideas on how to get the message spread further?

I'm not sure we can ever get down to non-diabetic levels for ever.I suspect our best bet is to just see how far down we can get and try and stick to it.8's and 10's are far too high.If I can stay in the 5's I will be happy ,and even happier to get my Hba1c down further.
