Ok silly question time again.

It has been bugging me that whenever I get freestyle lancets on prescription they are grey in colour, yet when I buy the same lancets in the same style box they are light cyan blue?

I've noticed this too on some consumables, I don't think it is any thing to worry about, as long as they all do the same job, but yes it does seem strange why this is the case.

Some lancets these days come in multi colours, I think it's for the younger diabetics, like the new funky machines to promote the children and teens into testing more regular. There always seem to be a psychology of this, if something is highly coloured your more inclined to use it. Thats my thought on it :)

Are you talking about the Abbott Freestyle? I think they have recently changed the packaging on their boxes, so maybe have some of the older colours left, but putting them in new packages. I'm only guessing though
