I hate carrying my smart phone around with me all the time , until recently when the Libre 2 became a cgm I would carry the reader which is a lot smaller and lighter than my phone but now it works as a cgm it goes without saying I prefer that convenience , If you are correct Zinadane and Libre 3 reader works as a cgm I may go back to that method if and when I get one .

I have read of some people who get a Libre reader which is effectively a dumb smartphone.
It provides CGM without being able to make calls, etc.

I think those dumbed down smartphones were only given out instead of a reader during a short time when there was a shortage of readers.

I don't get the anti smart phone brigade.
It's an integral part of my CGM set-up including sending the data to my garmin watch. And gives me all my vital stats.
Plus it's my Internet resource, my communication device, my payment device, it's my map, it's my camera, etc, etc.
Smart phone, pen, glucose. That's my checklist for everything I ever need.
