Has anyone got top tips for changing time zones.? I’ve tried a small extra meal with extra insulin, and various adjustments, I always have trouble I’m super sensitive to insulin and just the changing of our clocks for 1 hour upsets my whole system. I have asked a variety of diabetic nurses ( our surgery has been changing them so often ) and my sdn, but no one seems to have any advice, just adjust accordingly is no help!
It usually takes me about 2 weeks to get my blood sugar down, eating nothing bad and no puddings…. It is nice to have 1 or 2 on holiday but I don’t. So by then I’m coming back and it all starts again
I take 6 levimir in morning 4 before bed with a ratio of 1:6 at meals
You probably thing don’t go, but my husband has been very ill 50% chance of cancer returning and wants to make the most of life
