Tingling

Hi I’m new here but just wondering if anyone has experienced tingling in the fingers and now and again the toes? It’s been a couple of days now. I’m in bed at the moment and the tingling burning feeling in my fingers is keeping me awake, it’s not painful as such more irritating at the moment x

HI LynsK

My first thought was neuropathy, but I always say that as it has the same feeling and your T1. But it could also be non diabetic related too,(Nerves) so I would go and take a visit to the GP.

We sometimes (Me I am really guilty) associate our ailments to diabetes automatically and we may one day over look something more serious.

Just my thoughts, but I would definitely seek medical advise, just to be safe.

Thanks.

It’s my tips of fingers and my heel to now, they also feel hot to me but are cold to touch
I have an appointment Tuesday at the diabetic clinic I’ll mention it then, these forums really help me and yes I worry every thing it’s a direct result of the diabetes I suppose I’ll get used to it in time x

How are you stress levels?

Me personally I am a very very VERY anxious person.

From my personal experience there is a ton of stuff that could happen from high anxiety. This too.
You should definitely mention it to a doctor.

However, if you have a stressful period keep in mind that this could only be anxiety. Maybe it will help you calm your stress and then even dissappear on it's own when you are calm. :)
