Hi all. I'm newly diagnosed and don't even know exactly what type yet. (Still waiting for my first appointment).
I am so tired all the time. My joints ache and I sweat profusely at the slightest of physical activity. Oh and I feel sick as well.

Anything I can do or should I call the doctors.

mmm
odd who newly diagnosed you...?????
if you have a hospital that is near see online if they have a diabetice clinic /docs then go and see them ask for help
most odd when some person says you diabetic
also go for a 10 min walk and see how you feel the increase to 20 mins per day take some sweets with you in cause you feel faint or as we say low.and eat some carbs bread= sandwich about 30 carbs slow release but get to docs or clinic
regards vic insuilin type 1 60 years
type 2 on diat and tablets and commen sense you will find that out as you go along
drink plenty of water and now the weather is warmer you will need to drink more

Do you have a blood glucose monitor at home? If so, take a reading because it sounds as though you are either running too high or you are running lower than you normally would. Are you more thirsty than usual or visiting the loo more often? This can indicate higher blood glucose levels.

Peeing like a Racehorse and Drinking like an Elephant.
It sounds like you are running high but until you get your diagnosis it is still hard to say or to give advice. Carry on with drinking the water and if you do not feel any better in a few hours then ring the NHS Helpline on 111 for advice.

If you have online access to your test results you could perhaps post them here but as we are not doctors I think you need to see your Diabetes Nurse or your GP sooner rather than later.
