I have been type one for just over a year now and recently i feel so weak and tired in the mornings but i put it down to having a little baby keeping me up in the nights, but we done a little trial run where i slept at my mums for a few weeks to see how that went and i felt the same my sugar levels arnt to bad average between 6-11 most days, any suggestions on what id could be???

Sounds very similar to the situation I found myself in... including the baby!

I was on Levemir and had a problem with morning blood sugar where I would wake up at between 8 - 12 feeling really tired.. the rest of the day my fasting blood sugars would be around 5.. I couldn't no matter what I tired get my morning sugars down, short of waking up at 4am for a shot of rapid... so I recently changed to using insulatard and although I am now injecting three times a day rather than twice with the Levemir my morning sugars are now much more respectable within 1/2 to 1 mmol of my last reading at night.. I now feel much better when I wake up in the morning.. I don't think this is necessarily to do with the numbers although its nice they have improved I think its more to do with the consistency of the fasting readings..

How old is your baby? Sounds like something worth mentioning to your health visitor as they're the experts in assisting parents and children, including distinguishing between normal tiredness and tiredness as a symptom of other things. Post natal depression is something your HV may mention - and offer help if that's the cause of your tiredness.

the baby is 9months old and isnt the best of sleepers at the moment but even before he was born i could sleep up to 15 hours plus easy, then when i found out is was type one d i then but it down to that but still a year down the line i could sleep 15 hours easy still.
