I have a blood sensor on my arm it's great it's like the world's best horror film one minute your fine 7.4 5 mins later your 13.6 and rising fast, from 2 pieces of toast . I rush for my Nova Rapid and was advised 1 piece of toast is equivalent to 2 units so it goes 6 units 2 mins later alarm goes off 15.4 now what do I stab more do I drink a gallon of water I know, I'll run up and down stairs for 4 mins alarm goes off low sugar 3.8 oh **** eat a digestive biscuit by now my heart is pounding I'm sweating like the proverbial pig . What's next oh yer stomach cramps rush to the loo sit for 1/2 an hour use half a roll of toilet paper feel like you want to lay down and cry but no cramps again. Then you remember it Ozempic injection day and it all makes sense you have the winter flu coughing all the time running the loo drinking water and then ALARM GOES OFF High blood sugar and rising, OMG What have I eaten the dreaded packet of monster munch. It's driving me crazy need I say more. Does anyone else get days like this ?

I find the sensors to be a blessing and a curse. I was only diagnosed in the later half of 2021 and for the first twelve months used fingerpricks only and for the most part saw in range numbers. Now on Libre I see all the spikes and troughs. It took me awhile after getting the sensor to just relax abit and not try to correct every little blip. Even though the data is very helpful I figure I know my body better then a little plastic disc.
