Your numbers are quite high for a 20g of carbs a day.. have you looked to see if you are eating hidden carbs somewhere. How long have you been doing the low carb high fat way of eating ?Edited to say that I'm following LCHF and about 20-30 g carbs a day - nearly all in the evening plus added what I had for breakfast!

Once you deplete glycogen stores you should see your numbers come down
I thought the op was vlc? I could be wrong. And I so know how fast they fill up. When I over indulge in protein it takes a few days to get bs back down and stay down. If I want I do an avocado ( fat fast) day and that speeds things up.Indeed, but the second you go back to normal low carb eating as opposed to fasting in some way, the glycogen stores will fill up again. It's a vicious circle.
Personally I'd eat the roast lamb with your family but go very light on the veg (not for any reason connected to D but more as a family time occasion thing) and, maybe, put mint sauce on the lamb as vinegar can help with lowering BG. Then have the avocado this evening with a bit of protein.
You probably have done this, but have you tried drinking a pint of water when your BG goes very high?
Whoops - meant to say - you could try increasing the size of your breakfast. I've just recently noticed that I can stop or really slow down DP by eating more protein and fat first thing.
I'll have mint sauce with my lamb then
Get him to cook brekkie for you... you're worth it!More breakfast! Keep waking hubby by cluttering about in the kitchen at an unearthly hour! :-D Thankfully he still loves me!
So bacon AND egg AND cheese all cooked in butter with cream in my coffee?

I don't know how the water works but it does to a limited extent. (Maybe it dilutes your blood.). I know about it through having to ring NHS Direct after a dippy barmaid gave me full sugar instead of diet drinks.
All pickled or fermented foods (like sauerkraut) are good for controlling BG.
Thoughts ...
I need to eat right When I get up or I keep going up.
all my meals are snack sized. Then a few snacks in between.
Protein is often over looked as a culprit. It also fills glycogen stores and once they're full the blood glucose has no where to go except float around and this will keep you higher. One good way to empty them without a full fast is to do a fat fast for a day or so. Eating mostly just fat. Things like avocado, egg YOLKS ( not whites) with mayo. Butter etc. Very low protein and almost zero carbs. I could easily do an avocado day and just eat that. Or have the yolk and mayo too. A few nuts.
Once you deplete glycogen stores you should see your numbers come down. Slow to moderate paced walks help. For some brisk walks will raise bs ..... There, a few things to think ponder
