Sounds delicious to me. I'm available to pop round and help you with eating this food if you need any help.

Yes, it does sound delicious! I'd have to ask for one thing extra IF @donnellysdogs and I were lucky invited guests! I would have trouble with lunch because I can never manage to eat just soft food, and that's where a problem could occur for me and I might be tempted to reach for a cracker to eat with the pate and blue cheese. I'd ask for some sticks of celery instead which would provide some crunch without added carbs. :)

Sounds good, especially the gammon (which I would have to add a fried egg to, Mmmm, great for dipping your asparagus in too!).
Would probably add some salad or crudite to lunch maybe. Go easy with the cream though, it seems to halt my weight loss if I'm not careful.

Happy eating!

I must admit the lunch option was very boring so after work I will pop to the shop for some celery.

The cream has made me feel a bit yuck so i may knock that on the head and just have greek yogurt with berries.

Yummy fried egg and gamon, sounds perfect.

One thing i have noticed today is that i am satisfied with the food i have eaten and haven't craved my usual chocolate or biscits, however i must not run before i can walk as today i only day 1 xx

Ohhhh and you are all invited for lunch if you are in sunny Norfolk !!

Do tomatoes and cucumber have carbs ??

It depends who you ask. If someone is trying to be a Dr bernstein low carb purist, they will avoid them. I tend not to actively choose them. However, if I buy a salad and it has a cherry tomato and a couple of slices of cucumber, I won't worry too much about eating them.

Would love to accept but sunny South Wales is a bit far away! Tomatoes have about 3g carbs for a medium-sized (85g) raw red tomato. Don't know about cucumbers, reckon they've got practically none, and are useful, like celery, for eating marmite, peanut butter in moderation, or cream cheese, when I can't have crackers or crisps.

There isno harm in dark choc.

We have cheese, walnuts and 2 sq of darkchoc (min 80% cocoa) every night.

Its much better than pud and as we eat 7 thin small wedges of brie on a plate qith a readpoon of quince jelly firtst. Then 30-45 mins later the walnuts, then 30-45 mins the choc.. Its like having treats the whole night. Yet its pure goodness (besides my indulgence of the quince jelly)....

There's lots of ways to really enjoy foods..

Just make sure you have plenty of veg...
