Too many adverts!!!

Today I have noticed so many new adverts that it is time-consuming just to read any messages. What do I need to do to not be shown any adverts?

Are you using the app or your browser to visit the forum?

I don't know about the app but using your browser you should only see advertisements on the forum when you're not logged in.

I was opening in the browser, as I usually do.
 
I don't get any ad's using a browser, admittedly I am always logged in - I also have an ad-blocker (though I;m not sure it works very well in some places anymore - these forums are fine though)
 
I’m using the App on an iPad and no adverts.
A good browser to help block “pop up ads” is DuckDuckGo
You could always get an app like Adblock if it causes you problems.
 
There seems to have been some slight glitches on the forum today with some people reporting they’ve been logged out in their phone and had to log back in, everyone seems to have it sorted now, I use an iPad and although I wasn’t logged out I kept freezing and had to come off the forum and come back in again. No adverts.

It’s resolved itself now. It may be that there has been some background updates. How is it now @ElenaP?
 
I am seeing the same - I am using my laptop - where have all these pop ups came from or more importantly does any one know how I can get rid of them please - they are so annoying - many thanks

Edited to add - I had been logged out so I had to log back in to post this message - how weird?

All looks more normal again :)

After the system logged me out, I have re-logged in and, at the moment, everything is as it used to be.
