Too Much Insulin

Hi I’ve given my self to much basal insulin should have taken 18 levemir but did 20 unit should I worrie about as I’m just about to sleep will I get a hypo

Hello @Nooch1 I'm a bit late to your post, so checking you were ok through the night ? 2 units extra shouldn't make much difference but as long as you do regular tests you should be ok, also if this does happen again then set your alarm for 3am to do a blood test, this is the lowest your BG levels go during the night and a good way to see how safe you are to carry on sleeping, also keep a hypo treatment at your bedside too if you don't already, best wishes J

Thank for the concern woke a couple of time but did not test as was dealing with my son but suger this morning was 8.6 so not bad
