Total Brain Malfunctions During COVID-19

Here are a couple of amusing comments I've heard during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I was exchanging WhatsApp messages with a friend and we were chewing the fat over COVID-19 when he stated that COVID-19 had mutated from COVID-18, which mutated from COVID-17, etc. After I'd pulled myself together from laughing, I asked him if he was joking. Sadly he wasn't. He's generally quite an intelligent chap too.

I was chatting to my cousin on the phone and he was concerned about the possible low blood oxygen levels that can result from COVID-19. To this end he bought himself a house plant with the misguided view that the miniscule amount of oxygen produced by a solitary plant would in some way help. He even researched which plants generate the most oxygen. Now if he could get a medium sized rain forest in his flat he might be on to something.
