Total Carbs 3.3g............N et Carbs 1.7g

A recipe for almond flour cookies says the following for each cookie

https://www.wholesomeyum.com/recipes/gluten-free-shortbread-cookies-low-carb-sugar-free/

Total carbs 3.3g
Net Carbs 1.7g

For the purpose of how we are counting carbs, which one should I be taking notice of please?

Many thanks
It's an American recipe so it's net carbs as they list total carbs then deduct fibre - with a little bit of maths if you add the net carbs and the fibre you get back to the total carbs figure :)

It's worth bearing in mind that the UK deduct the fibre before listings the carbs so in UK it's total carbs you need to check

They have taken off the fibre to give you the net carbs which you should use.
