Whilst looking for some info on diabetic ulcers, I found this on the Diabetes UK (charity) website.
If you haven't had a proper foot examination as part of your checkups ( you should do but the stats show that a lot of people miss out ) it might be worth asking a friend or partner to conduct this test to see if you have any problems with sensitivity in your feet.

Something that might help lots of people who have impaired sensation in the feet is get hold of a telescopic retangle swivelling mirror. These are not very expensive. I bought my friend one using eBay from a seller dealing in tools.

By using the mirror my friend was able to spot any cuts etc on the soles of the foot and get treatment for the problems.

Pure bee keeper honey is marvelous for its healing properties. Will often come to the rescue when antibiotics fail.

Honey and indeed sugar have been used for centuries as a battlefield dressing for wounds to aid recovery when either no medical aid was available or before antiseptics and antibiotics were dreamed of :thumbup:
