I am getting interference from a tracking cookie whenever I access the Forum. It is not there on Main Site only direct access but comes up when I open the forum pages either from that site or from an email link externally. It is slowing my computer (Win10) and my antivirus program is reporting it as a tracking cookie. I can see it flash a booting message that it is scanning data, It is identifying itself as
cdn.syndication,twimg.com
which is apparently a Twitter tracker. I do not think it is malicious, but it's annoying and its recent. It is definitely triggered by this Forum. @Administrator please investigate.

I think you might need to email [email protected] with the problem.

Nope Adblock does not stop it.

OK got it doing that now. Needed to make a donation first

Now it still boots up the Twitter platform, but the constant scanning seems to have been muted, Will know when I play a game concurrently.

This matter is now being invetigated and correspondence is via email so this thread is effectively closed now.

I believe the forum used an engine provided by someone else. and that the engine had an update that hooked it into Twitter, and Google, and Facebook for some reason. It may not be up to DCUK to fix it, It may be using algorithms from those platforms to filter the discussions for hate speech or pornography etc. This may explain why it seems to be continuously scanning the PC. It may be just the PC version that's affected (Windows) and not the mobile platforms. Waiting to see what the techies find out.
