Just wondering how many others heard from Dr Trudi Deakins last night that their submissions have been included in her case studies promoting awareness amongst healthcare professionals of the benefits of LCHF. Exciting times or what?
 
It's also interesting spotting the different forum members in the list!
 
Yes I did. I need to search for a couple of my figures that were missing so she can include all my stats. :)
 
I heard back from her, and I'm one of her case studies. Exciting times. She also mentioned that if I have another HbA1c in the next couple of months would I send her the result so she can update before she prepares her written paper.
 
Yes me too, I'm on the presentation table.
 
I was surpised actually that from all the posters here saying how good their weightloss and figures are that there so few people listed... I thought Trudi would have gained info from more people...

I didn't bother as I had only had one HbA1c at the time of request and I probably don't high high fat enough. Also I like to remain elusive ;-)

Guess cos the only T1!!!

From 100,000 logged on to forum though and very many persons lower carbing I just thought it disappointing to only have 12 that would rake the time to state improvements.

I don't feel its enough to convince others....I worry that that the NHS will just say that it needs more studies with more people...

It's not too late Signy. The conference may be over, but she still has to prepare her paper for publication and wants more information. Although I did submit my stats, she has asked me to send updated HbA1c test results if done in next couple of months. So you could still join in. I'm sure she would welcome your stats.
