Trajenta

Hi all

I just wondered if anyone else took trajenta alongside metformin. I'm on 2x slow release metformin and 1 x trajenta. I've heard that trajenta can raise blood sugar levels, just wondered if anyone else has experienced that?

Only reason I am on them is because metformin continued to upset my tummy. I'm just wondering whether to bite the bullet and deal with that - unpleasant I know

I take trajenta and glucophage (branded metformin) - I couldnt get on with metformin at all - made my stomach really bad. Doc said she has other patients who can take glucophage but not generic metformin so thought it was worth a go. No problems whatsoever. I dont know the answer to the trajecta question unfortunately but will be interested in any responses.

Hi,
I was put on trajenta alongside my metformin 4 months ago because my doctor told me that my metformin was not working as efficiently as it should be & I needed another drug to go alongside it.

My most recent HbA1c is 8.1 having risen from 7.5

I've also noticed a weight gain too.
