Hi Everyone

I was diagnosed type 1 at the end of Nov 2007 was wondering if anyone could recommend any cheap european multi trip Travel Insurance(if it exists!). I want to add winter sports cover too.

look on the the sticky at top of page, some members have given info on travel insurance etc .Hope this helps !

I too have been looking for travel insurance, unfortunately I was getting no response after applying twice through the link on the diabetes.co.uk site so went with Tesco. About 40% cheaper than most other quotes.

Of course it wont cover me for diabetes medical treatment but whar that could be I dont know.

http://www.columbusdirect.com specialises in people with pre-existing conditions. Covers me for everything. We have a policy that covers hubby and I world wide, multi trip for a year around £90. Someone else I know got a single person world wide multi trip with winter sports which was £85. Obviously the winter sports bumped it up!
