Travel letter for insulin

Hi I have a letter from my surgery regarding my insulin and needle prescription for when I travelled in May , do I need a new letter for travelling again in August or can I use the same letter
 
It depends how specific the letter is. I've had my travel letter for a number of years and haven't had a new one, but I got my Dr to write it in a general way so it'd apply to any travel.

If your letter is a general one you shouldn't need to get another one.

I always take my prescription too as a back up.
 
I have one from around 4 years ago, I have never been asked to produce it though lol. I would assume that unless it has your precious travel dates on it, you will be fine x
 
I have a letter about my pump etc from 5 years ago and was only asked for it once. I pointed to my bag just about to go through X-Ray and said, "It's in that bag." The guy just said "OK." and sent me on my way.
 
Thanks everyone I will just keep this letter , I too never got asked when I went away in May
