Travel New York - food

Type of diabetes
Type 1
Type 1 for 36 years. I know there are rules re food when you go to New York. I will have digestives and breakfast bars with me in hand baggage.
Is it ok to have food like this also in your case??

I travel long haul and to Europe pretty regularly.
I always carry digestives and glucose tabs ( or Rowntree's fruit pastilles) in my hand luggage.
It has never been questioned going through security.

If you are travelling alone - you might want to mention to a member of cabin crew before take off that you are T1D.
it has the desired effect of extra attention. :)

Thank you , Me too, always have that in hand baggage . Traveling with my family but did mention when booking type 1

sorry -- just read your original question a second time.
yes -- I usually carry digestives and glucose in my checked in luggage as well.
never had a problem with this either !!:)
