So we fly out to America on Saturday. Will be my first time with my daughter being diagnosed. I’m having a funny 5... I have her finger pricker, insulin, spare canulars (on pump) injections and resivours in my hand luggage. Does the rest of the canulars etc go in the hold apart from the insulin! Or do I carry it all on board with me?

Can’t belive I’ve forgotten something so important! Duhhh!

Thanks

Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
Can't answer that question but you probably need a letter from your Doctor with the prescription details to show you need to carry all that stuff.

Pretty please could you put the question in a T1 area, or at least tag it as T1? Context in the subject field is always helpful. :)

Personally, I keep absolutely everything Diabetes related in my hand luggage.
Before I had diabetes, my checked in luggage went awol for a few days and I wouldn’t want to be without m spares for long.

I second the letter. In nearly 15 years, about 10 flights per year, I have used my letter once. But I would rather have peace of mind and risk missing my flight.
