So Im going on a long haul flight in June. It will be my first since having the Libre 2 sensor fitted. I went to the dr and just wanted to get a letter (which looks like a shopping list) with all my meds and the need to have the dextro tablets with me in case of hypos.. what I didnt know about was the scanner issue and the Libre sensor malfunctioning if I go through one . Im now having some weird anxiety about travelling and if the sensor will work when im away and calculating how much insulin I will need. Im away in the Caribbean for 3 weeks.. any tips/experiences to share please ?

Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
I've flown long haul with a Libre 2 sensor which links to my mobile phone on several occasions.
No issues going through scanners at various airports.
I end up with a load of sensors in my suitcase as well because I am usually away 6 weeks+

My Libre have been through airport scanner’s multiple times with no issues.
The sensor works fine and airport security pay no attention to it whether on my arm or the spare going through the x-ray. Yes, I always take spare a Libre.
