Hello. I suffer from diabetes type 1. I am on Tresiba in the mornings and NovoRapid with meals. I actually live in England but I am planing a trip to New York soon. My question is just about the timing. Have anyone been to NYC or to another country with a big time gap? If so, what have you been doing with the schedule time for your insulin doses? Should I just te-schedule my doses as per NYC time? Or should I carry on with my normal timing as if I am in the UK still?

Hello :)

I was in Australia last Christmas and I was advised to adjust to their time mid flight, it did mean forcing myself to eat when I didn't want to.

Because everyone is different I'd recommend speaking to your DSN so you can get the best advice for you and always test lots when changing time zones.
