Traveling to Thailand for five weeks

Im planning a trip to Thailand and possibly Indonesia for about 5 weeks. Im type 1 on injections.

I need some advice regarding insulin storage. I have frio bag but I don't think I can keep insulin for 5 weeks in it (leaflet says 28 days). Has any of you travelled for longer than 4 weeks and could advise anything sensible? Could I possibly buy one or two pens in pharmacy over there?

My second question is about travel insurance. Which one the best for diabetic?

I bet the ins have a pre-existing exclusion on any diabetic stuff, or a fee that would choke a horse
You would need to buy insulin over there, be prepared for a shock at how much it costs
I would try and pre-arrange as much as possible, no sense being there and finding out you need a form 765 signed by your Mum to get your insulin
