Hi All

I have to go to Dubai for 4 or 5 weeks with work in mid August. Because of the timings, my insulin would be out of the fridge for 48 hours or so before I'd get a chance to put it back in again.

My understanding is that it needs to be used within a week if it's taken out of the fridge for more than about 24 hours.

Anyone else have any knowledge of this?

Cheers

How about storing it in the aircraft fridge en route?

Hi

Thanks for that. I did think about that. The problem is that for the 48 hours from leaving home to getting to my apartment where it can be put in the fridge, only about 7 hours will be on the plane.

I've got someone in Dubai looking into it as well. They're going to go into a pharmacy and ask if there's a way to get a supply while I'm out there.

Cheers

Sounds good. You'll have to remember to retrieve it of course. And you don't want the trolley dolly accidently adding it to someone else's gin!!
