Hi,

My partner and I are thinking of going travelling for 3 months, however I am type 1 and insulin dependent.

As we will be moving from place to place and I will need to take a good supply of Novomix with me, I was wondering how I could go about keeping it cool while on the move?

The only thing I can really think of is a cool box though that will be a royal pain the backside! Not sure there are any alternatives though?!

Have any of you guys traveled with your insulin over a period of time? If so how did you keep it cool? Any tips?

Thanks in advance :?

Have a look at these on their website 'frio' pouch. You can buy from amazon and other uk sites. Apparently they stay cool for ages and don't need refrigerating, only soaking in water to re-activate the cooling system .. Hope that's of use ... Have a great trip ;-)

Awesome, thanks for the share.

They look perfect and best of all easy to use!

frio pouches have been a godsend for me... I couldn't have kept my insulin cool this summer without one. They're really easy to use and very effective! :D
