Tresiba - Low Doses

I am currently on Levemir. 5 units mornings and 4-5 units evenings. I know that with such low doses, Levemir runs out pretty quickly. 4 units barely cover the 12-hour time span.

I am considering a switch to Tresiba. Let's assume I will be injecting 6 units of Tresiba once a day. Is there a risk that such a low dose will not cover the full 24 hours?

I have been as low as 10u per day of Tresiba and that didn't run out or tail off before 24 hours. I guess the best way to find out how it works for you is to give it a try.

I'm currently on 6 units and it seems to last fine.

i use 8u a day and works. just got to give it a few days to get in your system
