I've only had one round of lipid tests with my current surgery since I moved in the summer. Total cholesterol 4.7, and TC/HDL 2.8 (or 4.8 and 2.7, can't remember). Triglycerides.... well, nobody knows, because they only report them if total cholesterol is over 6.
So - what is one of the most helpful indicators of cardiac risk, my surgery is not reporting. Dumb, eh?
HiHiya
Is a non fasting triglycerides level of 2 something to be concerned about. I know a fasting one should be below 2 . My doctor won't help me with any good cholesterol testing .
Oh dear so 2 ain't good ... will update when I get my full lipid test fasting as I've decided just to go private for it £100 well spent to let me know where I stand
However, if you know the total, the HDL and LDL you can calculate the trigs yourself.
I think I'm just worried because I was watching my sugar and far intake alot and I'm still high up the range and now im eating butter cheese cream and all that I do want to see what ok working with and what effect the lchf thing has on it all
