I've been on the same insuline ratios for about 6-7 months and never had bad hypos. Since having a kidney infection and starting Trimethoprim I've done nothing but drop? Usually with infection my blood glucose increases but I don't know what's going on has anybody else experienced this??

No. Sorry. I've been on Trimethoprim for UTI's before but my sugars were on the high end with the elevated white blood cell count.

Very unusual as usually illness such as kidney infections would result in high bg levels as @eddie1968 says.

If your confident at adjusting your own insulin doses you could change your I:C ratio's or even reduce your basal insulin to stop the hypo's occurring, if in doubt try and get in touch with your diabetes team or another HCP.
