Hi All,

Need some advice here. I fly out at 10.30 in the morning for a nine hour flight to Jamaica. They are 6 hours behind GMT. So I land at 19:30 UK time, but 13.30 Jamaica time. I am currently on 3 injections during the day and lantus at night.
Any thoughts about adjusting injections would be most helpful.

Cheers

I Was There 2 weeks ago! its an amazing country. we went up to Nine Mile to see Bob Marleys Toomb. was amazing.

i moved my 2 levmir injections by a few hours each day till i synced up again without any major problems.

Beware of the heat. have you ever been to that part of the world before? the humidity and the heat far exceeded anything ive ever experienced. it caused some werid drops, i lowered my levmir a bit and drank and insane amount of water (bottled only) beware of what their veg is washed in as well and the rum punch is just all sugar.

Happy holidays, I am so envious, Jamaica

Best wishes for a safe journey

I went on a Cricket Tour to Jamaica Five years ago. It was hot, sweaty, hard and amazing. If you can visit the Appleton's Distillery, do.

I was on Lantus at the time and just stuck waited to redo the Lantus in the evening, sticking a couple of fast acting shots in the gap to tide me over.
