Hi all, I'm going to working for several months in England.I will need to log off from my existing health insurance and since I work at England will be eligible for health.I am diabetic first degree, so I want to ask how much is prize of inzulin on one month in England? I use Lantus and Humagol 100i (3.5 mg / ml)

I am from the Czech Republic, which is part of the EU. If we are members of EU, I do not know if it has any impact on any treatment in UK. I have a good job here, but I feel it is time for a change, I want to improve my English, gain further experience. I have fear only from diabetes, but it is probably understandable. I want look for a new job on islands - business in UK.

Then it should be fine: we have a reciprocal healthcare agreement with other EU countries. You might need to inform your government before you travel (we have to carry an E111 card).

I hope you have a great time when you visit the UK. The beer isn't as good as in the Czech Republic, but I'm sure you'll find lots to entertain you.

Thank you so much for the answer, you helped me a lot and I am quite calm now.

And when we're on the beer .. one of our breweries started producing diabetic beer - there are several on the market, but this taste is absolutely amazing!

Hi Zhoubi

Could you, please, check the nutritional info. on one of your bottles. I suspect that the Carb total is incorrect:

0.3g of Protein = approx. 1.4 cals per 100ml
0.75g of Carbs = approx. 4 cals per 100ml

Given some 5.4 cals (6.7 cals if the sugar content is not included in the Carb total) per 100ml not the 26.1 cals as per your post.

Cheers

Pedantic Pete

Hi, I went to Tesco after work today and I visit their beer paradise (picture 1) :D I found two beers which are presented as diabetic beer. Nutrition values you can see on macro pictures (2,3)

Is not it alcohol nutrition values, what you mean ? kj/kcal
