My nine year old son has just been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes , for a couple of months before diagnosis he was complaining of tummy pain on off , and then he would feel sick . I assume this had something to do with the diabetes .He started treatment last week and apart from a couple of hypos his blood sugars have been good .Tonight he was again doubled up with tummy pain and started to feel sick , I tested his levels and all looked okay . He has also been complaining of pain in one leg and foot on and off for a couple of days that seems severe , i thought maybe it was cramp but it lasts about an hour . Anyone have any idea about what's going on ?

That is worrying for both you and your son @nicky3460, all I can suggest is you take the boy back to his Dr's and get him checked over, hope they find the cause of his discomfort. Good luck.
