Hi all, hope you are all staying safe and enjoying the good weather.
I'm a type 2 of about 6 months, and am currently taking Sukkarto (1000mg) in the morning and Atorvastatin (10mg) morning and evening.
When I was first diagnosed, I was taking 500mg of Metformin twice a day, but they affected my stomach badly, hence the switch.
So, about 12 weeks ago (roughly the start of the epidemic) the doctor switched my medication, which completely stopped my tummy pains (really bad wind and pains etc), but for the last month+ they have come back with vengeance.
Every day, always just before I go to bed it starts, and frequently I spend up to 1/2 hour on the toilet, and passing is now becoming less frequent but far more painful, but I'm having to take indigestion tablets otherwise I really struggle to sleep / get comfortable.
I know I should see a doctor, but I work away and so I ask your good-selves for any advice / suggestions on what could be causing this.
Thanks for looking, and I really hope you can shed your experiences on this.
Kevin
