The accompanying photo seemed to suggest that he was giving evidence or taking part in a press conference in an old building.

I searched the Parliament website but couldn't find anything going on that might be relevant.

Still, he must be one of the first cardiologists in UK to come out and say this

He was on TV couple weeks ago saying that the carbs are killers.. Also a GP on it as well recommending quibknfix diets rather than long term. He also stated long term med diet was best rather than the quick fix the GP was saying.

Very interesting that finally a cardiologist is sticking his head above the NHS parapet and going to battle publicly.

I sent him an email thanking him for being so brave to stick his head out against the NHS eatwell plate.
