Two bob bits

Sorry to ask this very crude sort of question, please bear with me everyone.

Since i started taking Metformin 1000mg a day now and Gliclazide 320mg a day, i have noticed that within 30 - 45 mins, i have to rush to the loo for number 2's !

Is this normal or is it just me ?

Oh yes, and that is also on top of tramadol, pregablin, naproxin etc that i have to take !

Metformin does seem to affect some people that way Grizzly. If it continues, ask your GP for Metformin SR which is the slow release version and you only need to take it once a day with or just after food.
 
There is no question too crude for this forum :D

As Grace says, it's very common to get a runny tummy on standard Metformin. Many people find the Sr (slow release) version much kinder, me included. A few unfortunates have problems with that as well. Just ask your GP for the slow release version.
