Two HbA1c tests in two weeks?

Hi Shygirl,

This is just sheer incompetence or laziness by your clinic. If they can't be bothered to ask the hospital for a copy of your HBA1C results, then there's nothing to stop you from contacting the hospital and asking then to send the results to your clinic. You shouldn't have to do this but your clinic's attitude seems to be why work when you can get paid for doing nothing.

Hi shygirl.

Strange, this one ?
If you have any procedures done at an NHS Hospital then the results are passed to your GP for his/her information. It may be that those results have not yet reached your GP ? Perhaps you should phone the Hospital and ask if the results have been passed on ?
The system is usually very cohesive. There will be occasions when the system does go wrong, usually not by design. Mainly human error.

Ken.

My HbA1cs are always done at the hospital and appear at my Gp health centre like clockwork 10 days later.
