I was just reading some clinical journals at work today (I am a Vet), and found a very interesting piece showing possible developments in the treatment of Type 1 diabetes. As per usual the headlines were hyped up but the content was an eye opener.

Basically as of next year the human trials will begin. If they are successful with this then it will add another weapon against this condition!
