Ha everybody, Happy new year to you all. I have a question, sleeping I have found that I have so much trouble sleeping I would be lucky to get 4 hours a night I am so over it I took 3 sleeping tablets last night never made any difference, dose anyone else suffer this and can it be linked to my t1 diabetes. Any thoughts would be welcome.
Hiya, type 1 shouldn't have any impact if your BG is well controlled, it's really a question for your GP, I am guessing that because your on medication that you have already tried them ?
I personally find that for a good night's sleep the following helps:
Stop using phones/ipad at least 2 hours before bed, the light affects the brain so keeps you awake longer.
Eat at least 3 hours before, so food is digested.
No alcohol.
Take a bath before bed, relaxes you
