Type 1 and unwell on waking

my name is david and im type 1 diabetic since 21st march 2015 and i have a problem which i like some help or advise to
when i wake up i feel sick and tired still and i have pain on my right side and my back
i just want to know is it the diabetes do this

What are your bg levels like on waking David?

If they are high and you have ketones then you need to get in touch with your diabetes team asap and discuss this with them.
