Hi name is Chris and i live in San Jose, California, U.S.A. I have had type 1 diabetes for 44 years, since I was 4. (I am now 48). Due to my own stupidity I contracted hepatitis C about 25 years ago. I've been dealing with the combined effects of the two for a quarter century, taking mass amounts of insulin daily, and somehow managing to stay alive. Multiple trips to the emergency room over the years. I've yet to start treatment for the hep c. I work my butt off full time and I love what I do, but the fatigue lately is incredible. Multiple other muscular and arthritic conditions have developed from this combination of the two diseases. I need some advise and guidance if its not all ready too late. I haven't met or heard of anybody alive yet with both disorders, let alone for this amount of time. This whole covid-19 pandemic has made it especially hard to find resources too. I have a good doctor finally (not a specialist) but its been a couple months since I've seen her.
