Type 1 diabetic daughter questions on wipes

My daughter has only been diagnosed a month and only managed to get into school full time this week I got told that liquid soaps she can't wash her hands in only bar of soap and wipes have to be alcohol free was wondering if any1 knows cheap wipes that can be used and if I'm right about the soap still very new to this all

Hi and welcome @emma_and, Personally I have not tried them, but I have seen Dia-wipes mentioned a few times on here. I think you can get them from Amazon. I personally have no issues using liquid soap and water, and the main thing to remember with alcohol based wipes, is they only disinfect, they don't actually cleanse contaminants like sugar, and hence possible false BG readings, but either way, from memory, the dia-wipes have had positive feedback I think.

I must admit...I've not heard this before...I always use liquid soap and have never used any kind of wipe...perhaps try a comparison to see if it makes any difference if you're worried.
