Hello everyone, I'm new here :) I discovered these forums while searching the web for some info that I am in need of right now. I really hope somebody can help me here.
I am a 21 year old Lithuanian. I am coming to the UK later this year and have plans to live there for a couple of years probably. My main focus is to study there but for the first year or so I'm planing to just work (in need of money right now). So my question here is what is the situation in the UK for legally working foreigners to acquire insulin? Is it possible to get it for free or at least a lot cheaper? I've found a topic on these forums discussing this for foreign students but I didn't see anything about foreign workers, I apologize if it already has been asked :)

If you have the right to work in this country, and been issued with an National Insurance number and are paying British Taxes, then you have a right to the same free medical care as any uk citizen is..

But as Noblemen says, contact the diabetesuk, or even the British embassy who will give you the correct details, as well has how to register with local GP/diabetic clinic
